INTERVIEW

About current activities

I am 19 years old and go to Beauty University.
His major is oil painting. On the other hand, I present my work on SNS.

How I started drawing

I started drawing in the sixth grade of elementary school.
I started drawing using an iPad in my first year of high school.

The high school itself is a school specializing in art.

My parents recommended it to me there.

I also liked painting, so I was allowed to do it freely.

-

The high school is separated by specializations.
There are Japanese paintings and oil paintings, and every year in a high school where exhibitions of works are held at museums.

The influence of the friends around me is also great,
I think it was very good for the environment to be able to talk to everyone from that time on, such as the future.

Evaluation on SNS

A picture of a daruma and a girl.
More than 10,000 likes gathered on SNS.

So I got a sense that this was the same as what I wanted to do and the evaluations around me.

The app I'm using is free ibis paint, an app that anyone can use, and I draw with my finger.

Are you drawing with your fingers!?

By daring to draw with your finger,
I thought this would be nice because I could draw a line with a taste.

At first, I thought that there was a limit with my finger,
There was a time when I thought I would like the Apple Pencil, but I somehow missed the opportunity to buy the latest model of the iPad itself,
If I was stretching and stretching, I would have got used to making with my fingers.

What I was happy about painting

It's a big way to get everyone to see it on Twitter.

I'm very happy to get a verbal reaction from a rip or the like after daruma's picture buzzes.
It is also a motivation for production.

What is important in creating

As oneself
Actually, I care a lot about composition.

I am very happy when it is said that it is a beautiful composition.

What was your impression when you heard about DiGALO's plans?

I thought it would be interesting because there is no other place to mainly present digital.

I think that there will be more opportunities to present works digitally from now on, so I think that's a good thing.

How did you get your current style? Or what influenced you?

I've settled on the style I'm in now,
Around May 2020, after graduating from high school, I entered coronal disaster.

Before that, I liked and imitated Mr. Moriyama, and I drew it with reference to the door painting of one piece.

After that, I came across Katsuya Terada's work, and I was quite influenced by how to draw lines, composition, and character selection.

I gradually put my essence in it, and it has become the style I am now.

About motifs

To draw a japanese motif
There are places that are important as originality.

Inspired by coronal disasters, natural disasters, and other great forces that people can't do anything about,
I bedded to draw small people and large demons.

A situation in which one is constrained by oneself,
What I felt by experiencing with myself,
I'm packing and expressing what I love.

Future Prospects

I'd like to work as an illustrator because I'm aiming to be an illustrator from junior high school.
I admire the work of pictures related to music such as CD jackets.
I'd like to work with my favorite artists.
