INTERVIEW
How I started drawing
It's been a long time ago,
There is a program to restore Michelangelo's ceiling paintings and murals in the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican.
Look at michelangelo's paintings.
I was surprised and moved by why I was able to attract so many people.
I've loved drawing since I was a child.
I wanted to draw a picture that would interest people myself.
It was the reason I started drawing.
Why are you painting?
Some people like to draw, but now it's custom to draw like brushing teeth.
Of course, when I'm drawing, there are times when it's hard not to go as I think, but for me it may be to calm my mind.
I'm also interested in what kind of paintingS I will draw in the future.
I think I would be surprised if I saw my work in the past,
I'm also looking forward to seeing what kind of pictures I'm drawing in the future.
What is important in production?
Instead of just sticking to the technical part,
I value the attractiveness of the finished work.
I hope it's a work that attracts me more than a good work.
I make both digital and analog,
In the case of analog works, you can understand the goodness by actually seeing the color development and uneven color at the exhibition.
Digital works can be used on screens, printing, goods, etc.
It is easy to deploy and there is a possibility that many people will see it.
We are not particular about digital or analog, but we intend to use it in different uses and combinations depending on the purpose and work.
How did you start being evaluated?
When I was doing 3DCG, I received awards, but since I started drawing women like I am today, I think that's because more people are watching my work on Twitter and Instagram.
I don't feel that I'm still being evaluated, so I'm going to create it so that more people can see my work.
What was your impression when you heard about DiGALO's plans?
Last year, I was creating analog-centric works at solo exhibitions and other exhibitions, but I was glad that I was able to expand my activities because I was also producing digital works in parallel.
I was happy that all the participating artists I knew could participate in these artists.
How did you get your current style? Or what influenced you?
When I was in college, I did oil painting,
I was drawing something like a religious painting,
When I was in graduate school, I met Mac and beged to create works in 3DCG.
3DCG was fun to create my favorite space,
It took too long to create a work, so I bedded to draw people digitally.
However, if it is only digital, the texture that I thought by all means does not come out and I draw a sketch with a pencil,
I began to create works that combine digital and analog, and I feel that I am still working to this day.
I like Michelangelo and Klimt in people, but I'm also influenced by the world hundertwasser portrays.
The way of expression has been different since I was a student, but the part where I want to express people has not changed.
I get new stimuli and influences every day because I can see a lot of great works on Twitter.
Future Prospects
I have been active mainly in solo exhibitions and group exhibitions, but I have been working mainly on book bindings, packaging, wine labels, etc.
I can do anything, but I want to be able to use my work as a product in everyday life.
