INTERVIEW

How I started drawing

From a young age, I was a child who seemed to be graffitiing.

I think that the hand is early, but after drawing, it often takes time to re-draw because I am not convinced. If time goes by and I don't like it, it's like announcing it.

In the past, I drew it so that people wouldn't see it.

While I'm a ronin at Geidai, drawing is not the picture I want to draw for the exam.
When it becomes painful to draw for the examination, I draw my favorite picture single-mindedly for stress relief,
I bedded to send out my work.

How to draw

The opportunity to draw was actually an encounter with "bananafish".
When I read it when my friend recommended it, I was struck by lightning.

I originally liked the works and motifs of the 1980s.
I can't say it well, but even if I'm a Japanese writer, the picture is very stylish,
The story was also fashionable, and the expression of the illustration was drawn into the design-tic atmosphere.

The PV of the 80's and 90's has been playing for a long time, and I like songs.

Now, while attending Tokyo University of the Arts, I am also working on my work while creating works on SNS.

Why are you painting?

I can't help drawing.
I want to draw like a curse! I'm driven by the urge.

When did you want to go in the direction of the painting?

I feel like I don't really understand it myself.

It was like taking a pen when I noticed, so naturally I thought I would go on the path of painting.

When I was little, I went to a painting class and painted like a play. "I had a good friend in it.
We went in together."

Junior high school was a tennis club,
When I was in high school, I looked ahead to college and entered the art club.

Now I'm interested in various directions, and I want to experience it carefully. There are many things that you do not know unless you experience it,
First of all, I would like to challenge various things.

Evaluation on SNS

I often post on Twitter.
I am very happy that there are many responses from overseas.

Imitate eye cropping pieces and send me photos with similar makeup.

I have a strong admiration for foreign companies, so I am very happy to be evaluated in this way by people from overseas.

What was your impression when you heard about DiGALO's plans?

I thought it was a very nice attempt.

I think that illustration is more familiar art than fine art, so I would like to continue to develop it as an art that can be touched casually.

I don't have many exhibits with other artists, so I thought it was a good opportunity.

How did you get your current style? Or what influenced you?

The style now is to draw various tastes on the iPad.
As a result of facing my paintings in the corona vortex and exploring my style, the current style is now ready.

I began to extract my favorite things specifically and bring them into my paintings.

When I wanted to draw only the eyes, when I thought that I did not want to draw the body, I tried trimming it, and I realized that it was designed and I think it became a feature.

Future Prospects

I want to create a work without being too bound by the boundaries I have been in. I'm interested in Japanese art,
While leaving behind american-like pop art, I would like to explore it with Stay, which has taken in Japanese art.
I would like to do such work in the future.
