INTERVIEW

How I started drawing

I don't remember much, but since I was a child, I've always loved drawing my favorite anime and manga characters and things like "the pretty girl I admire."

There was no art supplies in the house, so I remember collecting leaflets with white flyers on the back side of the newspaper every morning and drawing a lot of pictures.

Why are you painting?

I've always painted when I was little, even if I had time at school or at home, because I've always loved drawing rather than studying and exercising, and that's still going on.

What is important in production?

I try to draw pictures that contain meaning and interweaving thoughts as much as possible.

I try to express my thoughts and situation at that time, and I hope that I can be close to the feelings of the people who are watching it.

Those who are watching will feel something in their own senses erring err than wanting to convey my feelings.

How it started to grow on SNS

Since I post only the title of the work and a simple hashtag on SNS, I think that it is thanks to the spread of people who saw it.

I appreciate the evaluation and reaction of the people who have always seen me.

I think the most responsive opportunity was the group exhibition in Tokyo in 2020. I was able to work with overseas artists, so I received a lot of responses from overseas.

What was your impression when you heard about DiGALO's plans?

Because it is such a time world,
There was no need to go far, and I was fascinated by the AR exhibition that you can see on the spot.

I am also a fan and respect for all the artists participating this time, so I am happy to be with you.

How did you get your current style? Or what influenced you?

Up to high school students,
I liked drawing pictures of so-called secondary creations that depicted characters from anime and games that were popular on the Internet at the time.

I went to a high school with an art department.
At that time, I felt that it was the most difficult to be told to "draw freely" in classes and assignments.
It was easier to draw with a theme, so even if I was told to "be free", I didn't understand free ideas.

At that time, I used to wander the Internet and look at illustration posting sites, but I saw a lot of original works, considered what the author felt and made the work, and I was able to interact with them through SNS, so I was influenced and inspired by such people.

I think color was the influence of listening to free games and psychedelic electronic music that were published on the Internet.

My paintings still change depending on my mood, and I change them while drawing, so I have not yet completed them enough to say that it is a style,

I think that the consistent part is that I want to draw freely what I felt at that time and what I wanted to make a picture without being bound by anything.

Future Prospects

I will continue to draw. I would like to challenge my work as a picture regardless of genre.
