I want to express the coolness and beauty of women with minimal line drawings. The lip of the fore color is impressive.

INTERVIEW

How I started drawing

I have been drawing since I was very dingy.
When I was a child, I used to copy and draw my favorite anime and manga pictures.

I was afraid to enjoy watching pictures with my friends. Even during class, I drew lightly on the edge of my notebook, and when I scored a red point on a math test that I was not good at, my mother really me off.

Why are you painting?

I think that the time when I'm drawing is the time I'm facing myself.

When there's something nice, or when you're depressed,
At that time, I sublimated my emotions into a picture of a "beautiful woman".
I'm also very happy when people who see a picture sympathize with me about the "beautiful things" I expressed.

What is important in production

Women's beauty,

the strength that women have,

The delicate part hidden in its strength

I want to express it in a picture,

So that they are transmitted to the person who saw them,

I draw while thinking that it will be sympathetic.

With bold and smooth line drawings and a sense of missing from the margins, we are always searching for expressions that are extremely simple but stand out for women's "luster" and "lusdyness".

How did you start being evaluated?

In pursuit of "individuality" in my paintings,

I kept thinking about what the appeal of the paintings I was drawings were.

Since aiming for a style that specializes in sophisticated line drawings without hesitation, more and more people are gradually looking at the paintings.

Thankfully, people in Japan and overseas often praise line drawings, and I feel that I am responding to the efforts.

What was your impression when you heard about DiGALO's plans?

I recognized the existence of DiGALO through my favorite illustrator's SNS.

It was like a dream to be able to call out to such a wonderful stage, and at first I was doubtful (laughs)

I am convinced that this project will increase the number of activities of our artists and increase the value of our works.

Once again, thank you for speaking to me.

How did you get your current style?

When I saw the painting of famous fashion illustrator Miyuki Morimoto, I was shocked at how fashionable it was.

I was impressed by the stylish line drawings and the expressive power to feel femininity even if it was simple in black and white.

While pursuing the "individuality of painting", I settled on the current style that combines fashion and manga painting.

Future Prospects

I would like to continue to draw and convey the appeal of women.

I want to make the "beauty" that I believe in into my work.

I want to do my best in painting so that more and more people can see it.
